Bodyline Comfort Systems
In 1968, Dr. John W. Fiore determined that his low back disc case
patients needed increased lumbar support in their car on their way
home from his office.
With an electric knife and some foam rubber he carved out a dozen
specially designed cushions. He theorized that not only could circumferential
support reduce bulging disc pressures while sitting but that if
the surface of the cushion is contoured to follow the natural lines
of the human body the ultimate in comfort and support could be achieved.
The result was the original low back support cushion -- "Back-Huggar."®
These cushions, intended as loaners, were liked so much that his patients didn't want to return them -- they wanted to buy them. Soon custom poured-foam cavities were made to produce a quality one-piece molded "Back-Huggar."
By 1986 the company Dr. Fiore founded, Bodyline Comfort Systems,
reached the milestone of one million "Back-Huggars" sold.
Today Bodyline's product line has expanded to include over 50 other
quality support products including two which are patented -- the
"Neck-Huggar" cervical support pillow and the "Bodyline
Sleeper" contoured mattress overlay.
For 30 years Bodyline's hallmark of quality construction and close
attention to detail has set the standard for which all other chiropractic and physical
therapy supply companies could follow.
Look for the "Back-Huggar" and "Bodyline" trade
names to insure you are always getting the original top-quality
support products. |
